Dale Emerson Hogue II

WOONSOCKET, RI Dale Emerson Hogue II, 78, formerly of Farrell, PA, has finished life’s journey and has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior at 7:15 PM on Monday September 5, 2016 at The Oakland Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center in Woonsocket, with his daughter by his side. He was born September 9, 1937 in Sharon, PA, the only child of the late Dale E. and Myrtle E. (Lewis) Hogue. Dale worked as a long distance truck driver for many years. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a lifetime member of the American Legion. He leaves behind his first wife and current companion, Cecile L. Hogue of RI; their four daughters, Tamera Lorraine Williams of PA, Sharon Lynn Flesia of RI, Lori Ann Degre of RI and Patricia Michelle Joyce of RI; 19 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. He also leaves three stepchildren, Vincent Barry of NC, Mary Gill of OH and John Barry of OH; 10 step grandchildren, 17 step great grandchildren and one step great great grandchild. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; three wives, Elaine Studebaker, Margaret Minney and Gloria Rutter; his and his first wife’s two sons, Dale Emerson Hogue III and William Wesley Hogue; a granddaughter, Brittany Lorraine Joyce; great great granddaughter, Madison Rose Degre and a step grandson, Daniel A. Roth. There are no calling hours or services. A private burial will be held at Haywood Cemetery in West Middlesex, PA.
