HERMITAGE A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 10, 2017 at the First Baptist Church, 50 Orchard Ave., Hubbard at 11:30 AM with Pastor Luke Oskin officiating for Mary Ann Robinson who died Sunday evening May 21, 2017 at her home. A daughter of Vance and Ada Shackelford Keener and moved to Hubbard in 1962 from Fairmont, WV.

Mrs. Robinson received her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Youngstown State University. She was a Guidance Counselor for the Berkshire School System for 15 years, retiring in 2005 and previously worked as a substitute teacher for the Hubbard School System. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hubbard and attended New Life Church in New Wilmington. Mary Ann was a member of the Fortnightly VI Club of Hubbard for over 40 years, that allowed her to establish wonderful memories and great friendships. She believed in living life to the fullest and with positivity. Beautiful inside and out, she gave her life to those around her. It started with her family as a loving and selfless wife and mother and extended to anyone who met her. She loved helping others and always had time for you whether it was to act, listen or encourage.

Mary Ann loved to have fun! She loved to design and build homes for many years with her husband, Lee. She enjoyed reading, learning, gambling, vacationing, spending time with her family and living without regret. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion for all things that is to be admired and remembered.

She leaves her husband of 55 years, Lee J. Robinson, whom she married September 9, 1961; a son, Todd J. (Roberta) Robinson of Hubbard; a daughter, Kelly A. Robinson of Columbus; a sister, Janet Smith of Wheeling, WV and a grandson, Daniel P. Robinson.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Vance Jr., Douglas and Don Keener and a sister, Davinna Stoops.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Hubbard, 59 Orchard Ave., Hubbard, OH 44425.
