Mary A (Duffy) Sedlacko

Mary Adele Sedlacko, 80,was born in Youngstown on November 9, 1936 to John and Mary Duffy. She entered Heaven’s gates Sunday, November 27, 2016. Mary had an unwavering faith in God and devoted her life to the Diocese in service to St. Edward’s and St. Patrick’s. She will be dearly missed by her renewal friends with whom she enjoyed meeting every month for dinner. Her brothers Patrick and Dennis Duffy preceded her in death. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, David E. Sedlacko. She is also survived by her children David M. Sedlacko, Mary Lisa (Harry) Sedlacko-Fricker, Daniel J. (Carol) Sedlacko, Lynn M. Sedlacko, and Erin M. (Jeremy Hakes) Sedlacko. She is remembered by her grandchildren: Jamie, Adam, Nicholas, Kaylee and Katherine. Her daughter, Mary Lisa, lovingly tended to her through her final years. The compassionate staff at Windsor House provided care and comfort in her closing days. The family gives them and all who cared for Mary their greatest gratitude. A memorial mass celebrating her life will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, November 30th at St. Patrick’s Church, 225 N Main St, Hubbard, OH with a reception following.
