HUBBARD: Mary Ann “Mitzi” Treharn, 83, died Thursday evening, April 7, 2016, at Northside Hospital. She was born May 5, 1932, a daughter of John and Mary Hodak Sharisky and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

 

Mrs. Treharn was a 1950 graduate of Hubbard High School. She worked in the cafeteria for the Hubbard School District and was known as the “Ice Cream Lady.” Mitzi was very active in the Victory Christian Center Church.

 

Mitzi will be sadly missed by her loving husband, John Treharn, whom she married December 8, 1989; two daughters, Janice M. Poma of Hubbard and Mary Ann E. (Tom) Baker of NC;  two step sons John A. (Cindy) Treharn of IN and Mark A. (Carrie) Treharn of Girard; two step daughters, Linda D. (Paul) Noble of Bay Village, OH and Cheryl A. (Vendy) Tomko of PA;  two brothers,  John (Anna Marie)  Sharisky of Hubbard and Marty Sharisky of Austintown;  one sister, Sandy Duble of New Castle; daughter-in-law, Kim Poma of Boardman; 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, James P. Poma; two sons Jim and John Poma.

 

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the Victory Christian Center Coitsville Campus at 3899 McCartney Rd. Lowellville, OH 44436.

 

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon at the Victory Christian Center.
