HUBBARD Nelson L. Miller, 71, died Thursday morning July 28, 2016 at Hospice House. He was born December 18, 1944 at home, a son of Clifford L. and Annamae McKelvey Miller and was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Miller was a foreman at Sharon Tube in Niles for 30 years, before retiring in 2009. He was a graduate of Brookfield High School and served with the United States Navy during Vietnam. Nelson was a member of Pheasants Forever, was an avid hunter and loved his dogs. His wife, the former Patricia A. Welton, whom he married October 14, 1967, died October 27, 2009. He leaves a son, Roger A. Miller of Hubbard; a sister, Betty O’Connell of Port Orange, FL; three brothers, Clifford (Elsie) Miller of Campbell, Alan (Darla) Miller of Sharon, PA and David (Vicky) Miller of Hermitage; 2 grandchildren, Roger (Deanna) Miller Jr. with whom he made his home and Ashley (Nick) Soles of Sharon, PA and 2 great grandsons, Cameron and Adrian Soles. He also leaves many nieces and nephews including his nephew David Miller who helped take great care of Nelson. Nelson was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Annamae Coxson and Odessa Miller. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, one hour prior to the funeral services from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 6:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
