She was raised in North Lima and graduated from Boardman High School in 1964. She briefly attended Kent State University. Norma lived in Cherry Point, North Carolina, and later returned to Ohio. She married Wesley Clayre Duff on August 31st, 1974. They lived in Fowler Township residing on Everett-Hull Road while raising their three daughters. Throughout her life, Norma enjoyed participating in numerous Trumbull County 4-H programs. She actively volunteered her time for more than 30 years as an advisor in both saddle horse and sewing clubs. She also served on the Saddle Horse Advisory Committee and was elected to serve in numerous officer positions throughout her tenure. She was always willing to assist with projects and competitions doing whatever was necessary to support “her” kids. Norma was also an active member of the Fowler United Methodist Church. For many years she helped with the youth group, served as church treasurer, and assisted with special events such as church dinners, pie making, preparing meals for Annual Conference, yard sale, clothing collection and Trunk – or – Treat. Most of all, Norma was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who found and gave great joy in being with her family. Preceding her in death, besides her parents, are her adoring husband of 41 years, Wesley Clayre Duff, and grandson, Robert Wesley Lucas. She leaves behind daughters, Angelia Roy, Dawn (Brian) Piotrowski, and Marissa (Brian) Lucas; her loving grandchildren, Alison Dunbar, Sierra Roy, Chase Roy, Jasmine Lucas, Samantha Piotrowski, and great-granddaughter Aryanna Dunbar. She is also survived by her brothers, Scott F. (Janice) Alm and Charles N. (Cheryl) Alm.
