Raymond F. McNeeley Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Michael Swierz officiating will be offered on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, preceded by closing prayers to be recited at 9:30 a.m. in the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home for Raymond F. McNeeley Sr., of Hubbard, who entered into eternal life early Saturday morning at Northside Medical Center in Youngstown. He was 88 years old. Raymond was born on May 10, 1928 in Youngstown the son of the late Peter and Marie Leicki McNeeley and was a lifelong area resident. Raymond worked for both Republic Steel as a welder for over 30 years retiring May 31, 1985 as well as the Hubbard High School as a custodian for over 30 years. He was a strong supporter of the Hubbard Eagles and Warren JFK. His greatest joy was being with his family. Raymond was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Hubbard. Raymond was married to the former Stephanna A. Mullen on December 4, 1948 and they were married for 48 years until her passing on November 16, 1996. A loving, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Raymond will be missed by two children Raymond F. (Vicky) McNeeley Jr. and Patti (Ralph) Pallante both of Hubbard; a sister Jean Huntington of Austintown; three granddaughters Kimberly (Greg) Chandler, Kelly (Bill) Flowers and Nicole Pallante; five great granddaughters Kayleigh, Emilee and Madison Shields and Sydney and Allie Flowers and by his faithful beloved dog “Lady Baby”. Raymond was preceded in death by a brother Peter McNeeley and two sisters Mary Ellen Pavicko and Irene Fulytar. Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Hubbard Union Cemetery.
