Barbara Martin Obituary

HUBBARD Barbara Martin, 82, died Sunday evening February 18, 2024 at Elmwood Assisted Living. She was born August 10, 1941 in Youngstown, a daughter of Donald W. and Lucille Davis Carroll.

Mrs. Martin, a 1959 graduate of The Rayen High School, was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hubbard and was a cashier for Butler Wick, retiring in 1999. She was a volunteer at Northside Hospital for over 25 years. Barbara was a member of the Girard Garden Club, Fortnightly Five and the Boardman Swim and Tennis Club.

Her husband, John A. Martin, whom she married August 19, 1972, died December 18, 2016.

She leaves a son, Donald J. Miller of Hubbard; two daughters, Vicki L. Miller Mancini of Hubbard and Tracey S. Flowers and her husband William Sr. of Hubbard; a brother, James W. Carroll and his wife Kathy of Portland, OR; a stepson, John A. Martin Jr. and his wife Lori of Texas; a stepdaughter, Cindi Fazio and her husband Vincent of Brecksville, OH; two grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her husband John.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at a later date.

Her final resting place will be at Lake Park Cemetery.
