We feel the services of a funeral home should not end with the funeral. To help cope with the loss of a loved one, the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home offers an aftercare program. Our aftercare program was designed to help you put the pieces back together and find a way to go on. We can't go through the grief for you but we can help each step of the way. We have a Grief counselor on staff at the funeral home, support groups and also a special Holiday Memorial Program held in December to remember your loved ones.

The Kelley-Robb Funeral Home After Care Program is one of the finest such offerings in the country. Included in this program is a grief counselor on the staff of the funeral home, a unique support group system, and Family Care Center building. Also, a memorial was established and the flag is flown at half-mast in honor of all Veterans, Firemen and Police Officers the funeral home serves.

Dennis and Ruth Ann feel that it is important to have a husband and wife team. They enjoy working together and it shows. The two share ideas in order to make the funeral home better serve families at their time of need. "Many husbands and wives don't have the opportunity to work together as we do and we feel that those who have lost a loved one benefit from our combined concern. Together we try to make every detail special in order to create a pleasant everlasting memory and to help the family through their loss."

The Care Center

The Kelley-Robb Funeral Home Care Center was founded in 1994 in memory of Albert and Josephine Madeline, whose home was once on the site of the center. The Care Center is the home of the After Care Program.

The After Care Program is one of the most extensive and unique in the United States. The program offers support groups and counseling to the bereaved. They are under the guidance of Phil Roland, MA PP C. Phil is a trained professional with a Master's Degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling and over 20 years experience in the field. The groups are offered in the fall and winter of each year. They consist of ten weekly sessions, each lasting 2 hours. After the ten-week sessions, The Candle Glow Group is available to allow for a social recovery. In addition, there is a lending library with a wealth of information pertaining to grief and the recovery process. All of these services are free of charge or obligation and are open to all families that are hurting, not just those served by the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.
