Brenda J. (Lang) Lantini

HUBBARD Funeral services will be held on Thursday at Noon at Victory Christian Church, 2009 N. Mercer St. in New Castle with Pastor Alonzo Waters officiating for Brenda Lang Lantini, who ran the race, finished the course and kept the faith. She went home to be with Jesus on Saturday April 22, 2017 after an extended illness. She was 57.

Brenda, the daughter of Willard and Carole Addicott Lang, was born March 10, 1960 in Sharon, PA. She is a 1978 Alumnus of Mercer High School. She gave her life away to those around her, starting with her family and extending outward. Brenda spent many years of her life as a teacher and mentor to a wide variety of people from piano lessons and children’s church to Bible studies. She was a devoted, loving, selfless wife, mom, daughter, Mimi, sister, aunt and friend. Beautiful inside and out, she gave her life even to her last moment loving others, building a legacy of love and compassion.

Brenda was a world traveling adventurer who loved Jesus first and trusted Him at all times. She was full of wisdom and creativity and enjoyed music, writing and fishing. She gave the best hugs and was a constant source of courage and strength to everyone around her. The ripples of her life will continue to spread for many years into the future.

Brenda lovingly leaves behind her husband, Joseph J. Lantini Jr.; one son, Joshua Kriebel and “second daughter”, Megan; one daughter, Christina Kriebel Treu and “second son” Nate; stepchildren, Joey Lantini III and fiancée Kinzie, Giovan Gilbert and his wife, Tiffany, John Gilbert Jr., Katina Hetrick, and two “adopted” sons in Belarus, Evgeny and Sasha Zabiran; grandchildren include: Gavin and Ali Treu, Nat and Ann, Giovan Jr. & Gianna Gilbert, McKenzie & Ireland; her mother, Carole Addicott Lang; one brother, Mick Lang and his wife Deb; one sister, Patricia Leboeuf and her husband, Reynold; two nephews, Michael Lang Jr. and Zachary Abraham; two nieces, Holly Lang and Faith Abraham and last but not least, one great-niece, Alivia Lang.

Brenda is now in heaven with her father, Rev. Willard Lang and three grand babies.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday April 26, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the services on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Victory Christian Center, New Castle Campus, 2009 N. Mercer St., New Castle, PA 16105.

Interment will be at Morefield Cemetery in Hermitage, PA.
