Dear Stump and Gelbke Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Helen, Flo and all of you were such a part of our family growing up. I can't imagine that heaven is prepared for her and her mother back together again. Flo, you always took the time to talk to me. It was a joy always listening to your stories. Rest in peace.

To Flo's Family,
We extend our deepest sympathy to each and every one of you. Flo was one of the most generous, caring, wonderful people we have ever had the privilege of knowing. This world has lost a fabulous soul. May God be with all of you during this very difficult time.
Fondly,
Tim, Tammie & Ashley

Our deepest sympathies to Kenny, Roxanne and Chellie and family. We grew up on Woodbine , the Corner Bar was a landmark everyone who lived there knew where it was. Flo was a kind-hearted person who helped many including me. My brother, CB, thought the world of her. I’m sure they’re reminiscing over old times. It’s so difficult to lose a loved one; Roger lost his brothers and sister and I lost my parents and my brother. My mom was born the same year as your mom but I lost her in 2008. I miss her more everyday. Losing your mother, is by far one of the hardest. I will keep your family in prayer. God Bless, Susan Vigus

I am so sorry for the loss to your family. May the peace and love she shared with you all be with you always. Although she no longer walks on the earth, she will never be far from the ones she loved here, you will notice her in subtle ways that will bring a smile to your face.

Oh Flo! Our family loved you SO!! Xo.
Flo catered my rehearsal dinner at Harding Park. My brother reminded me fondly today how he had his first job with her washing dishes when she catered. 84?
Thinking of all of you and wishing you peace. She was such a special person!

Kenny, Roxanne and Shelley.. I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. She had so many great qualities but one of my favorite memories was when she painted the fire hydrant across the street from our house into a dog because it was boring. The only consolation is knowing she is back with Sonny, John, Vi and my mom and dad. I know she is pouring them a beer and my mom is complaining about it! Love you all❤️

I met Flo in 1970 and she scared me to death. She was tough as nails and unapologetic. She swore a lot, told dirty jokes and flashed total strangers. She could drink any man in the bar under the table, throw the guy out at closing time and sweep the floors before she left because there was a kid’s birthday party the next day. She judged no one and gave everyone at least 1000 chances. Once she loved you, you would have to shoot her – quite possibly twice – before she stopped. She believed and forgave and gave unselfishly. She had the best laugh in the world and the greatest one-liners. Smart, quick, a savvy businesswoman, a wonderful cook, a mother who knew what she was doing, a grandmother you could run to and a great-grandmother who reached out in her final hour to the newest arrival. Flo was one of a kind, impossible to replace and will live in so many hearts and minds that she will never be very far away. My condolences to her family and friends. Thank you for sharing Flo with me. I wish I could be there with you in person but I am there in spirit and prayers.
