Mary Katherine King

HUBBARD Private funeral services will be held on Monday February 4, 2019 with Pastor Matt Medford officiating for Mary Katherine King, 87, who died Sunday evening January 27, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born April 2, 1931 in Cambridge, OH and was raised by her grandmother, Nellie Walker.

Mrs. King was a bank teller at Dollar Savings and Trust for 15 years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of the former Coitsville Presbyterian Church where she was a Deacon, an Elder and a Trustee. Mary was a member of the American Business Women’s Association and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing and flowers.

Her husband, Richard A. King, whom she married September 1, 1952, died February 28, 2004.

She leaves 7 sons, Robert King and his wife Sabrina of Mesquite, TX, James King and his wife Nancy of Orlando, FL, a daughter-in-law, Teresa Ann King of Liberty, Richard King Jr. and his wife Theresa of Campbell, Harry King and his wife Molly of Liberty, Dean King and his wife Gloria of Youngstown, John King and his wife Diana of Salem and Timothy King and his wife Kaylou of Canfield; a daughter, Katherine King of Morgantown, WV; 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her grandmother Nellie; her husband Richard; two sons, Thomas and David King and a sister, Frances Shipman.

Interment will be at Jackson Cemetery.
