HUBBARD Funeral services will be held on Monday March 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Victory Christian Center, Main Campus in Lowellville with Pastor Joe Thomas officiating for Raymond T. McCauley, 89, who died Wednesday afternoon February 27, 2019 at his home. He was born September 3, 1929 in Sharon, a son of Edgar G. and Katherine Valetich McCauley.
Mr. McCauley, a graduate of Farrell High School, served with the United States Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict with the 11th Airborne Division as a paratrooper. Raymond owned and operated Ray’s Auto Service for 10 years, retiring in 1992 and formerly worked for McLean Trucking in West Middlesex. He was a very active member of the church and performed in several plays. He enjoyed singing, cars, airplanes, loved cats and dogs and feeding the birds but most of all loved his family.
He leaves his wife, the former Jacqueline S. Dunder, whom he married August 7, 1961; two sons, Raymond T. McCauley Jr. of London, OH and Gregory A. McCauley of Hubbard; two daughters, Renee E. Moldovan and her husband Anthony and Danielle R. Wonderly and her husband Vance both of West Middlesex, PA; a sister, Judith Vernille of Farrell, PA and three grandchildren, Bailey Moldovan and Rylee and Lane Wonderly.
Family and friends may call on Sunday March 3, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home and also one hour prior to funeral services on Monday March 4, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Victory Christian Center.
Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
