Roxanne, Marty, Jr., Kevin and Heather,

Our prayers are with you guys and our hearts are broken. We know losing "Dad" is one of the most difficult things in life. We know Uncle Marty and Dad are having a wonderful reunion in heaven, but that doesn't ease our heartache and separation. Would love to be there with you guys, but health issues will not allow. Know we are with all of you in our thoughts and many prayers through this most difficult time. Love all of you. Steve & Gay T. Bryant

I am so very sorry for your loss. It is hard to loose a parent or anyone. Mine were 11 months apart. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Roxanne and all the Thornton Family. I remember your dad from when I was a little girl attending Corner House church. May you find peace and comfort in the love of our Lord -

To Kevin and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your dad sounds like an awesome guy. My dad was also a WWII veteran and a proud American. What a wonderful legacy that generation has left for us, in patriotism, decency, work ethic and just being good citizens. I will be praying that God comforts you in this time of sorrow. God bless all of you.

I believe my son Steve went to school with Kevin Thornton. Please accept our sincere sympathy, Kevin, from the Vernell family. It is hard to lose a loved one, especially your Dad. Steve lost his father in November, 2015. We feel a great loss but knowing that Jim is in heaven with our Lord eases our pain. I hope the road gets smoother for you as well.

Heather and family.
We are so sorry for the difficult time you are all going through following the illness and passing of your Dad. We do truly understand.
Since I did grow up at Corner House, I do remember both your mom and dad quite well. Mom's beautiful singing, dad's involvement in operations and their amazing love they always showed each other and their family.
Your dad continued showing his life of concern and love for others with his paper flowers. My mom loved them and I kept the ones he had given her.
We will be out of town, so we won't be able to attend the services, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
