Jay, (which is how I remember you), I am so sorry for you and your family's lose. Through the years I have thought of you and Mary Ann thousands of times. For years I lived in either Medina or Wadsworth, Oh. I know, that close and never had any contact with any of you. Those years, for me are better forgotten. Not good ones. But this time is yours, and your family. My heart aches and I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. I have managed to always keep in touch with Jr. and Jo. I live in Jamestown, NY, but still have 2 children that live in Ohio yet. Maybe one of these days we all can get together. For me, that would be nice, as the older I get, the more family means to me as I told Jr. last evening. You have my e-mail above, and also on FB. Would be nice hearing from you. Much love, Nan

My heart is so heavy! I just went to facebook to see if I could find you because you had been on my mind a whole lot these last couple of weeks. After searching your name I found this. I wanted to reach out to you to tell you that you had such a significantly positive impact on my life and in my world. I would NOT have made it through high school without you. I will forever be grateful. Class of '99! I graduated almost 20 years ago and your influence over my life was not forgotten and never will be. Love you! I'll see you when I get there.

Dear Lee Jay & Kelly,
We are so saddened to learn of Mary Ann's passing. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. We will come to the Memorial Service, which I'm sure will be lovely, and such a nice idea. She will be missed by so many. How can we plan programs now for Fortnightly? She was always the one with the creative ideas. Love, Sympathy, & Friendship, Fred and Linda West.

I remember Mary Ann when I worked at Berkshire. She was always very kind, and never too busy to help a student who had any kind of need. Much sympathy to all of her family and friends.

Mary Ann was a remarkable woman who made an impression with me from the very first moment we met in the freshman dorm parking lot at ONU in the late summer of 1988. Her personality, style and laughter filled a room and she was a delightful conversationalist in any venue. Her vitality always seemed 20 years younger as she more than once socialized later into the evening (or shall I say morning) than me! Mary Ann genuinely cared for people around her; she would always ask about me and my daughter's life, she would remember details about events in our lives and ask about specifics. I will miss her charming smile, but I will never forget her lovely spirit. Perhaps her (and Lee's) greatest gift to me is Kelly, an incredible, generous friend. Thank you. My thoughts are with Lee, Todd and Kelly.

Maryann was one of the most beautiful women inside and out that I had the pleasure of knowing her smile lit up a room and the kindness she showed to everyone was beyond measure. She will live on through her beautiful daughter Kelly who is so much like her and I am blessed to have her as one of my closest friends. Thank you Lee Kelly and Todd and family for sharing your wife/mom with the world . We were so blessed to know her. My heartfelt sympathy and love to you all .. Lisa Griffin and Sienna Glaze
